Registrations are open for the KNX Partner certification course, from the 16 al 20 December Rende (CS).
Organized by Green HoMe in collaboration with the accredited training center Forte Chance, the KNX Basic certification course will take place from 16 al 20 December at the headquarters of the Innovation Pole for sustainable construction in Rende (CS).
The first four days of the course are dedicated to detailing the basic principles of KNX technology, with several practical and application examples, in preparation for the exam KNX Partner certification which will take place on the fifth day.
During the course the topics of KNX TP1 Bus devices will be covered (bus buttons, output modules, dimmer actuators, shutter actuators, ecc.) and the relative pairing methods (BCU, BTM, ecc.). Furthermore, some installation notes of the KNX TP1 bus will be provided: from the preparation of the systems to the verifications of the same. The concepts of Area will be studied in depth, Line, Device, Physical address and group address and communication objects. They will finally be treated in the course: the structure and analysis of the KNX Telegram, the coupling of lines, the RF system and the ETS software.
The third and fourth days will be mainly dedicated to practical exercises with state-of-the-art tools (PC and home automation cases for simulation) made available to participants to concretely experience what they have learned at a theoretical level under the supervision of the KNX tutor.
A voucher will be issued to the course participants (voucher) of € 140,00 for the purchase of the ETS5 Lite software.
The overcoming of’final exam, will allow the participant to obtain:

- KNX Partner certification
- permanent registration in the list of KNX Partners available on the website KNX.org
- buono (voucher) of € 185,00 for the purchase of the upgrade from ETS5 Lite to ETS5 Professional
The cost of the course is equal to:
- Full fee: € 1.000,00 + VAT
- Reduced fee: € 500,00 + VAT for subjects aggregated to Green Home
- Fee for students and recent graduates: € 250,00 + VAT
In addition to what has already been indicated, the cost includes lunch and access to teaching materials. Vouchers for the software do not expire.
