Digital technologies to face Covid19 fielded by innovative startups and universities of the Green HoMe Polo
Two innovative startups associated with the Green HoMe Hub have deployed their skills to create useful components and services to deal with the health and economic emergency caused by the Coronavirus. Further initiatives have been launched by the Universities that support Green HoMe. We invite all companies and operators involved in initiatives with the same purpose to communicate them to the Polo editorial team.
PMopenlab has started the production of medical visors with 3D printing following the open source project #OpenMedicalVisor (based on the model of Gizéh Triana) whose prototyping was perfected in collaboration with the medical staff of the Infectious Diseases Department of the GOM of Reggio Calabria. The first ones were already delivered at the end of March 12 viewers of 30 foreseen. Citizens residing in the municipalities that will adopt "Buonispesacovid-19" will not have to leave their homes or incur costs to interact with the offices, to sign and submit the application. Unical vs Covid19 brings together numerous initiatives to mitigate the impact of the Covid19 emergency organized with the contribution of the University of Calabria. They are currently in progress: a fundraising campaign multichannel to support Covid19 medical centers in Calabria; support for distance learning in schools; various initiatives in the field of medical and healthcare devices; some offices for social and psychological assistance activities are being activated; anti-violence number for women in difficulty (CRUI campaign); ecc.
