The 7 June (ore 14, Mediterranean Hotel, CS mistress), the project “Zero Net Energy Wood house” presents wooden house solutions a “zero net energy”

Z-NEWh is the acronym of “Zero Net Energy Wood house”, a project financed by the POR Calabria 2014-2020 and created by the Research Group of Electrical Energy Systems of the University of Calabria and by the spin-off CRETA Energie Speciali with the entrepreneurial skills of the lead partner Alfano Spa (Amantea) in the construction and renovation of wooden houses and Mannella Srl (Vibo Valentia), specialized in woodworking.

The project develops innovative solutions for energy self-sufficient housing modules, even in the absence of connection to the electricity grid, thanks to plant engineering techniques that fully exploit renewable energy sources and using modern electric vehicles as mobile accumulators. The project also uses wood, natural resource of which Calabria is rich, as a raw material for construction.

The project will be presented by the manager Daniel Menniti, full professor of Electrical Energy Systems, who will discuss it together with Mario Maiolo, President of the Green Home Innovation Pole, Rocco Alfano, President of Alfano Spa and BigMat Italia, Anna Pinnarelli e Nicola Sorrentino, Researchers in Electrical Systems for Energy of Unical – DIMEG, Damiano Frittitta, Electic Mobility Section Manager di Nissan Italia e John Brusco, Technical Director of CRETA Energie Speciali.

They also intervene, the Regional Councilor for Infrastructures, Roberto Musmanno, the Director of the Scientific Research and Technological Innovation Sector of the Calabria Region, Menotti Lucchetta, the Technical Director of the Polo Net, Salvatore Leto.
