Activities:

The laboratory conducts research for the realization of innovative materials and processes for applications in the industrial field, Environmental and in the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage. Services relate:

  • Chemical and physico-chemical analysis of materials
  • Structural morphological analysis of complex materials;
  • design of innovative multifunctional materials;
  • design and construction of electro-optical and electrochromic cells of industrial interest and related manufacturing processes;
  • Design and manufacture of composite materials of industrial interest and related manufacturing processes;
  • Design and construction of pilot plants for the production of composite materials; Design and implementation of cultural heritage restoration interventions and diagnostic investigations aimed at ascertaining their status;
  • Design of pilot plants for the production of natural fibers;
  • Process design for waste valorization;
  • Design of de-pollution processes of environmental sites;
  • Design and implementation of fermentation processes for the production of biofuels.
