Co-Direction: Research Platform REDUCER 1 (Regional Economic Development and Urban Consumption and Emission Reduction), del GeVaUL (PaGis) con il MIT Department of Architecture. Evaluation of Climate Change mitigation and solution strategies by removing the causes with saving energy resources and reducing climate-altering emissions through Bio Building and Bio Materials.

The laboratory has the following tools:

  • MCA – DRM . Higher level proprietary geo-referenced multi-criteria evaluation platform and tools (2006-2019).
  • L C Assessment, S L C Assessment, L C Cost. Platform and tools.
  • ArcGis Server for Enterprise; ArcIMS Server; MapServer; PostgreS rDBMS; SPSS; SAS.
  • 12 notebook (2011-2019).
  • 2 workstation (2011-2019).
  • Server 01 e Server 02 (2014-2019).
  • 10 Printers (2011-2019).
  • Scanner A2 (2015).

Activities:

  • Evaluation and development of Climate Change mitigation strategies by removing the causes with saving energy resources and reducing climate-altering emissions through Bio Building and adoption of Bio Eco Materials
  • Multi Criteria Valuation (MCV) of Alternative strategies and projects with superior proprietary approaches (Dominant Regime Me-thod, DRM), rDBMS (relational Data Base Management System), Geographic Information System e WebGis
  • Assessment, processing, promotion and implementation of Innovative Strategies for Post Carbon City through Innovative Nature Ba-sed production chains of Bio Eco Materials in a Circular Economy
  • Bio Building with Business Supply Chain of Bio Ethical Building with recovery of the existing building stock (also of high artistic value, historical)
  • Complex feasibility evaluations and "studies" [ecological and emissions(from the point of view: of the earth eco system, in the life cycle); ener-getici (from the point of view: of the energy balance, in the life cycle); economic benefits and costs (from the point of view: of the overall economy); financial and cost (from the point of view: of the private entrepreneur)] for the planning, implementation, control and summary of Urban Eco Retrofitting projects on a neighborhood and city scale
  • LC Assessment; SLC Assessment; LC Cost of sustainability in the life cycle of Strategie, programs, projects and products
  • Energy assessments and certifications
  • Support to individual companies for the activation and management of supply chains for the production of Bio Eco Materials and for Bio Ethical Building
  • Training of professional and business associations in the adoption of the Ithaca Protocol and in the use of LCA SLCA; LCC

Thematic areas:

  • Complex MCV assessments, DRM, L C Assessment; S L C Assessment; L C Cost
  • Social Cost Benefits Analysis, ecological, economic, financial
  • Assessment, development and management of Climate Change Mitigation Strategies
  • Evaluation of natural materials in bio building \ Building performance evaluation and certification
